This was especially beautiful to watch even with her spill later on in program. To be able to wat h her hesr the mudic and feel the emotion she skates with was magical. I wish more commentators would take a page out off these French competitions and share there opinions etc after. We have yet to see someone do what she could do on the ice.

What a very competitive program even compared to today's standards (2024). Triple lutz-triple toe, triple toe-half loop-triple sal. Level 4 spins and spirals. Sasha totally revolutionised the sport. My only critique is I don't like the fabric of her dress here, but the design is nice.

She was smiling...it was phenomenal choreography. Do people forget how the play ends?

I just have questions about synchronization between the music and performance..

I'm watching this again in 2023. Her artistry is more beautiful than any skater's I have ever seen.

Sasha is one of my all time favourites with Irina and Michael ,her spins and spirals are still among the bests , her costume here was very beautiful too but the best part of this is Tchaikovsky " Pas de Deux " from nutcracker just unmatched masterpiece , nothing comes close to it .

Aquí debió ser primera! Nagasu no le llega ni a los talones! En el programa largo sí tuvo varios errores pero aquí estuvo perfecta! Y a pesar de que no fue consistente en los saltos en sus programas largos, para mí fue y es la mejor parinadora de todos los tiempos! La amo y extraño! Compitió muy pocos años. Y aquí fue muy valiente en volver pero debió haber vuelto antes a las competencias y habría sido otra la historia. 🤩

Most spirals by other skaters are cheated with their lower leg bent and the head thrusted back. Is that the spirals we want to see or not? The southern Korean skater’s earlier spirals were not really attractive as Sasha. Alissa Czisny and Yulia’s. Mao Asada and Sarah Hughes attempted some really good spirals. The other great spirals was Fleur Maxwell, Arlene Gedevanishvili. And Michelle Kwan’s COE spirals.

She was robbed.... too bad she wasn’t attempting a quad when she fell.... if I was a figure skater I would try to do quads on all my jumps, this way when I fall, I’d still get a high tech score.... lol... a beautiful triple beats an ugly quad any day of the week

Wow, how have I not seen this performance before? One of the best I've seen from her. But how many different dresses did she have for this program? I don't think she ever had the same dress for an entire season. lol Maybe she should have focused less on the costumes....
